Success!

Remember Zak Levenstein? We reported on this Mitzvah Kid's very inspirational (and humbling) Mitzvah Project in a past newsletter. He organized a memorial concert that just recently took place. Here's the fabulous follow-up report:

On February 22, Zak Levenstein proved that one kid really can make a difference. Zak, a 12-year-old Roslyn resident, created and organized the Ethan H. Freed Memorial Concert in memory of his former campmate who died suddenly at summer camp in 2006. This extremely successful event was attended by over 100 people and raised nearly $3,000. In this harsh economy, the outcome speaks volumes about Zak’s inexhaustible efforts.

Way to go, Zak!
